Transitioning Back to Our Roots: Beyond CAD
For 18 months in 2022-23, we operated under the name Beyondware as part of a rebranding initiative. However, due to unforeseen trademark concerns, we made the strategic decision to revert to our original company name and brand: Beyond CAD. This change reflects not just a return to our roots, but also a reinforcement of the values and vision that have driven us since our inception. Computer Aided Design (CAD) has been essential to infrastructure design and construction over many decades, and we are committed to helping transition ‘Beyond CAD’ to more interactive and realistic design, 3D visualization and planning solutions.
What This Means for Our Customers
It’s important to note that while our company name and branding have changed, our commitment to quality and innovation remains steadfast. Our flagship product, Beyond Typicals, will continue to be the same pioneering tool you have come to rely on, without any changes to its functionality or performance. Because Beyond Typicals is such a strong product and brand of its own, and has little dependence on the company brand, BT users may not even be aware of this transition back to the Beyond CAD brand.
Gradual Transition for a Smooth Experience
We understand that a rebranding process can be complex, and we are dedicated to making this transition as seamless as possible. Over the coming weeks and months, you will notice the gradual phasing out of the Beyondware brand, name, and logo. Our website will transition from beyondware.com to beyondcad.com, reflecting our renewed focus on the Beyond CAD identity. The user account, licensing and data tracking should all remain functional and uninterrupted. We hope to make the most important changes during the holiday season to affect the least number of users.

This rebranding does not alter our core mission. Beyond CAD remains deeply committed to providing cutting-edge software and exceptional service for our products. We believe that returning to our original brand will allow us to better align with our long-term goals and the needs of our customers.
