Brian Sroufe, PE has recently joined Beyond CAD Inc as a Business Development Manager after 15 years of roadway design and project management in the Chicagoland and Twin Cities areas.
Brian’s transportation design expertise lies in safety and mobility roadway improvements in core urban areas, leading numerous Complete Streets, Vision Zero Deaths, and Safe Routes to School projects. He specializes in roadway projects with a focus on multimodal safety and mobility improvements, and has also performed traffic engineering and impact studies, environmental and location-design studies, site design, and drainage design using low-impact development practices.
Beyond CAD welcomes Brian as a passionate Beyond Typicals user and early adopter and will assist in onboarding, customer success, business development, training and more in his role as Business Development Manager. Brian joins Beyond CAD founder Sam Lytle, PE as another licensed engineer looking to continue to improve and share Beyond Typicals with the transportation community.
Brian grew up in Lima, Ohio and began his career in transportation engineering in 2007 after graduating from the University of Cincinnati. Brian currently lives in Lakeville, MN with his wife Christine and their twins, Lucy and Malcolm.
